Results

Well, as you can see, not all tests were performed for all versions.  This is because Joomla 1.0 and 1.5 RC1 did not come with alternative cache drivers or alternative session drivers, and 1.0 did not come with a page cache plugin. 

One thing to notice here is that all versions of Joomla see a speed increase between tests one and two.  To refresh briefly, test one was a base install, and test two was with SEF URLs enabled.  To me, this result is surprising.  I expected the results to be opposite of how they turned out.

Conclusions?
