Results

So, as you can see here, every storage method used by PageCache is more than twice as fast as 1.0.14 without PageCache installed.  Besides that, all the storage methods are  pretty much within a few percent of each other.  While 1.0.9 with APC is the fastest version, all backends with the exception of Memcache are within 10%.

Conclusions?
