I know that I have been a little bit hard to get a hold of for the past month or so.  I apologize for that.  In early December, I joined the Development Workgroup for Joomla.  The push towards 1.5 stable has taken almost all of my spare time.  While I still am definitely a contributor to the project, now that 1.5 is stable, I will have more time to address issues and requests here.  Joomla 1.5 is the future, and look for more cool things coming with it. 

I do not have plans at this time to create a version of PageCache for 1.5.  The main reason is the built in page cache included with 1.5.  While the current 1.5 implementation is definitely not as powerful as PageCache, I believe that it will suffice for a significant number of sites.  If requested, I may make another cache plugin for 1.5 which would add some additional features, but as I said, there are no plans for a full blown 3pd cache component at this time.
