Hi, I have posted this at joomapolis with no replies, so getting desperate.
I began following the uninstall instructions as I wanted to upgrade to 1.2. I uninstalled the component ok, but when I was uninstalling the modules the page timed out, and when I went to the modules list in the backend they weren't to be seen.
I then thought they were uninstalled, so began to install the 1.2 modules. The installer gave an error message stating that there were already folders of that name present, and I therefore couldnt install.
So they were there, but not there???
In filemanager I could see the folders were still there. I deleted them, and then uploaded the module folders via
FTP.Basically now I can access the component through the back end, but cannot see the modules in the module list in the backend. I am now using the joomla login module so that users can still register and log in.
I have a backup of my site, but its about 3 weeks old, and I have made a lot of changes in that time. I am worried that if I load the backup I will lose all the new content and modules and template changes I have made.
I desperately need CB to work for me. My site is at

I have looked for hours through the forum here and all over the net, and have found a few posts that refer to this problem, but none have a solution. Would be very appreciative if you can provide an answer, or point me to a thread.
