So is the core developers aware about using this type of code?

If not could this be optimized for Joomla core?

I am just amazed that most of all Joomla sites are so slow most of them.

If you go to Joomla.org you will see that the menues loading fast but the main content page coming upp and loading very slowly.

Many Joomla sites I believe is on shared hosts and almost 100% if them are very very slow too. Just wonder what the best way to optimize speed on a shared hosting environment?

Actually, for the most part, the core is pretty good. I'm working with a few people now profiling 1.5 to take care of the rest...

That's because a lot of people incist on running Joomla on cheap, overloaded shared hosting...

99% of all slowdows are database related. Either that, or are related to miss-coded extensions...
