First of all thank you for this great component!

I read the previous posts regarding eAccelerator being grayed out, but in my case it is not showing in the list at all, as showed in the attached image.

I already compiled the last version of Zend eAcceleator(v0.9.5.3) with the store variable options, as you mentioned in a couple of posts. Php info shows as installed correctly. I restarted Apache, reinstalled QueryCache but still can't see the option for eAccelerator. I've tried with RC1 and RC2. Am I doing something wrong?

I have Joomla 1.5.2 and PHP 4.4.4-8+etch6 on Linux Debian.
