Query Cache Beta1 Is Out! (now Beta 4)Looking very interesting when I hear about this. Could be nice to know about estimated figures. Its good to have those different caching methods working together!
I think that the sql queries are important to enhance so this seems to be good way to improve this for enhance speed for every Joomla site out there. What I have seen for many Joomla sites that I have browsed is that the speed is not good for most of them but maybe that it also bcs they are mostly on shared web hosting services. Strange that I don't find this issue on many Drupal sites for some reason.
About the requirements of this Query Cache; I know about memcache a little from reading before... never tested it myself. As I understand this is for larger application/services implementations sharing many web servers and distributed over the network.
So can you help with the others methods? Do you have a link to them and can you also install them on a shared web hosting server?
