Looking very interesting when I hear about this. Could be nice to know about estimated figures. Its good to have those different caching methods working together!

I think that the sql queries are important to enhance so this seems to be good way to improve this for enhance speed for every Joomla site out there. What I have seen for many Joomla sites that I have browsed is that the speed is not good for most of them but maybe that it also bcs they are mostly on shared web hosting services. Strange that I don't find this issue on many Drupal sites for some reason.

About the requirements of this Query Cache; I know about memcache a little from reading before... never tested it myself. As I understand this is for larger application/services implementations sharing many web servers and distributed over the network.

So can you help with the others methods? Do you have a link to them and can you also install them on a shared web hosting server?

There is only a file based method for shared hosts. But I can't say how good it will be.

Ok about "a file based method" what are they usually using and how can you get this working with Query Cache? any tips?

It's included in the nightly builds of QueryCache... (go to downloads and you'll see it)..

Do you have any tips about how to debug your site to improve your Joomla site speed too..as I understand that includes optimize html code, pics etc for better performance

Check the articles here. I do have some other tips, but they can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing (and hence why I havn't written articles about them)
